Sydney and her bike.
Tuesday, January 6, 2009
I took some pictures of Sydney riding her bike last Sunday! She can ride the entire length of our street (and probably further, if we would let her). Of course, with the recent events in our neighborhood, she can only ride if Mark is with her and so we usually confine bike riding to our street. It is so cool to watch her ride! I still can't believe she can do it.
Here's Mark running along behind her....hmmm....a great way to get Mark to exercise!

Love it! I always wonder who is more excited about those amazing milestones, me or my kids?!?
What's been going on in your neighborhood?
Hey there!! That is so cool that you found our blog and now we can stay in touch with each other! Don't you love the bike riding experience?! We have been going through that here too! We both have little kindergarteners! It's so great to hear from you! Tell Mark hi from us too! :)
What a big girl! I can't believe she can do that without training wheels. Way to go Sydney!
How fun! And yeah...what happened in your neighborhood?
It was so sad, what happened to these two innocent boys at a park in our neighborhood...but a big reminder that this area really isn't as safe as it seems. There are the usual drop houses, drug problems, and break-ins...but this one was just devasting.

great job, sydney! great idea on how to get those husbands out for a jog!
That is exciting she can do it on her own. We were just wondering when Macie would be able to do that without the training wheels. And Sydney can sit by us at church anytime (if we are there on time). That was the best I've been able to listen to the speakers in awhile, since the girls were busy with each other!
Way to go Sydney. Carlos being 11 is still a lil wobbly on the turns!
Yeah Sydney! What an accomplishment!
She's good!!! I miss you guys!!
sydney is looking so big! i can't imagine having a kid that can ride a bike, let alone one that is potty trained!
